Stuck on Chap 7

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
After Catacombs etc. Went to Gate, but, cant get any quest to start, can't get Tam? Lady to talk at sundree etc.. been all over both HQs, stuck.. do I need to start over or is their a way to get the next chap. Started?

    Have you tried loading up another recent save and seeing if the problem is persistent? I've never seen this but maybe something went wrong in the chapter change itself since none of the chap 7 stuff is working? You did get the narration for chapter 7 starting when coming out of the catacombs?

    Yes, got the narration coming out of catacombs, just cant get the next step and flaming fist guys do not bother either.
