How to increase framerate?

Not thrilled with the graphics options in BGEE. Original BG you could adjust framerate within the launcher. I found baldur.ini with a reference to framerate in there, increased to 60 fps but nothing.

Game is stupid slow and laggy, need to bump up FPS...how??

    I second this! Was just looking for a outside setup program to finetune the game. Would love to change the FPS as I would in the old game.
