chapter 6 bug

I have a bug witch is a complete game stopper.
Basically, I come out of the Underdark and talk to Elthan. I go back to town and finish off with the Githyanki and then go to Cromwell to get all my new shiny toys made.. But then I go to enlist the help of the Shadow Thieves and Aran only has the dialogue that is intended to send you to Spellhold (I've already done that, and come out of the Underdark). I also tried agreeing and he actually sends you to Brynnlaw. I have to say, I'm not particularly keen on looping through the same couple of chapters ad infinitum, so I reloaded. But nothing changed. I'm stuck. I go to the Graveyard at night and there's no Bodhi. I go through the vampire lair and there's nothing.
Any idea ?
Where am I supposed to relate bugs, is it the good forum here ?
