How can I increase size of discussion window at bottom of screen?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Cannot read anything in that screen, almost too small for one sentence. I have tried to adjust settings, no love there. Any thoughts?

    You should be able to click on the edge of the window and drag it up or down to change the size.

    Guess I was terminally stupid yesterday, thought I had tried that. Thanks, all is good now!
