I pre-loaded the game without any problems. But know when I open the launcher, it crashes, as soon as it says "Connecting.." Same when I try to download the game through Beamdog.

I ran the programms in Administator mode and even dissabled my firewall.

But no matter what it keeps crashing.

Also there is no error code or something. It just says; this programm has stopped working..

I figured my last option was to uninstall the launcher, restart windows and install again. But alas, it still crashes..

Most likly the crash is the beamdog clint trying but failing to connect to the overloaded server

How hard can it be for software designers to programm a decent launcher. I could live with it, if it said servers overloaded, or whatever, but actually just crashing.. ><

Stand alone installer crashes, Beamdog client crashes when trying to start the download. I've run it in every single compatibility mode possible, with and without admin rights, I've turned off my firewall and my AV and it still crashes. It was crashing on my home computer last night as well before the game released but for some reason my work computer had absolutely no issues with the downloader.

Both PCs are running Windowx 7 64 bit and have similar hardware profiles, so what gives?

Guess I should have pulled some overtime tonight and sat at work to play. Maybe spending less time on nonsense like mobile ports and actually making the PC remake work is a good direction for you guys to consider because this is completely ridiculous. You might as well have delayed the game another month or two because it's clearly not fit for release. Are we launching a new MMO or a stand alone game?

Yeah and I thought the Diablo 3 launcher was terrible at launch..

I got the stand alone clianet then I went to the beamdog folder and moved the data file 00766 folder to the BG:EE folder that seems to have gotten thing moving again
