He only goes down like a semi-chump. Nice improvement to his last stand, good fellows.

On the other hand, I miss BG2 walking speeds.

    Oh the happiness in this thread.

    And yes, I muchly enjoyed the better fight, Gorion is way more of a badass now!

    Actually, My laptop crapped out, something about the intel chipset. So I have to redownload on my desktop. So I still haven't seen the fight. Boo.

    I'm not 100% satisfied though, Sarevok tanked a lot more damage in the original, but they didn't want the new intro to be longer than the original one.

    As for walking speeds, I don't think there's much of a difference between BGEE and BG2. Its way better than the walking speed of BG1 though.

    I am semi-depressed that 'Gorion dies' counts as a spoiler. Really?

    This isn't even 'Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father'. It's more like 'Uncle Owen dies', if Uncle Owen died within the first three minutes of the first movie.

    But eh, whatever.

    You start the game in Candlekeep!

    The real spoiler is that the cutscene was improved.
