This is something that has been bugging me for a long time. I know there is a little boy who under certain circumstances gets spawned by script and pickpockets a small amount of money from you.

I just can't reproduce this and so I have no idea what those circumstances are (other than that he usually appears in the western upper parts of the city). There is very little else I remember about the event. The last time I saw him was several years ago.

Can anybody help me?

Try his sister the courtesan at the upper right edge at the screen not far from where Perth the Adapt is.  I never truly bothered with him myself, but Minsc should be funny around him.  Should be a simple mission, then after talking to her and taking the heroic route.  ""Fear not damsel, noble Charname to the rescue."  Then you kill Chremy outside the Vulgare Monkey and pay that guy just under him for both.

Thank you. I finally got to meet the little rascal again. He wasn't very appreciative though. He just took my money and ran off.
