I read the post about the game not working on Intel graphics cards, but I've got an Nvidia, so it should work. However, when the game opens, it's just a white screen with music playing. Nothing I do seems to make any difference. Anybody experiencing similar problems or have any solution?

I get a white screen... then my computer crashes.

I'm not sure about the crashing, but I've gotten past the white screen. Use Alt=Enter to take it to windowed mode, and it should work. As long as it doesn't crash, that is.

    Excuse me, Alt+Enter.

I get the same white screen. When I hit Alt+Enter, the windowed game is still a white screen...

That happened to me as well the first time. Once you've got the smaller windowed white screen, shut off the game and then restart it. This time, it should start in the windowed mode, and work. At least that's how it worked for me.

I managed to make it work. Right click the shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility

Make sure you check run as administrator, disable desktop composition and disable desktop visual themes.

nvidia control panel -> 3D settings -> Manage 3D settings. program settings tab, add baldur.exe and select high-performance nvidia processor, apply. This worked for me.

Tried installing the game on my laptop, it has an Intel HD Graphics 3000... (xp)
None of the above suggested helped (my nvidia control panel is quite strange), please help as i managed to convince my wife to give online a go this weekend.

    Eventually worked!
You just need to do it on both the enhanced edition folder, and the /00766 .exe's

    Thanks allot!
