BG:EE to BG2:ToB character compatibility

Is there a way to transfer BG:EE characters into BG2? The BG:EE-exported CHR files are crashing the game.

    Can't say I've ever tried to do that but I would say "no" on the grounds that certain opcodes the EE might be saving on characters and items simply don't exist in the originals.

    What you could try instead is copy a default .chr file and edit it with the old Shadowkeeper (or Near Infinity if you prefer) until it's more or less identical to the character you wanted to export.
