No option for steam cloud save?

I play bg2 between two computers, and randomly on my laptop I noticed my most recent cloud save from my computer wasn't showing up. I look under options and suddenly there is no option for cloud save? Like I can't even turn it off or on, it just simply isn't there.

It's still there on my computer.

I recently reinstalled a couple mods but not sure that would prevent cloud save from showing up. Any ideas?

did you try: Steam>Settings>Cloud then have the "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for applications which support it" box checked?

or, right click on the game and select "Properties" then in the general tab, check the box that says; Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game

or under the "UPDATES" tab check the box that says; Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for - whichever game you right clicked on -

Yes, all of those are enabled. It's so strange! Option is just gone.

I may try reinstalling or verifying integrity of game cache, but my worry is all my mods. Not sure how that will effect them. Not a huge deal but installing scs is a pain in the ass.

as an alternative solution if you don't manage to solve the cloud issue you can copy the last saves and the auto and quick one into an usb pen drive and transfer them on the other computer.
as long as they have the same version of the game and the same mods installed it should work.
