Problems with Beamdog clinet

My client doesn't seem to be working too well. When I start it, it more or less freezes; as in I cannot even move the actual client winow. I've tried leaving it there for a while, and the only change I've seen is "connectivity problems".
I've also tried reinstalling the client, without any change at all.

Does anyone have the same problem, and maybe a solution?
