How can the monk survive critical hits

Is there any items that actually provide immunity, given that the stones in helmet slot do not give that immunity anymore?

    Some mods have items that provide critical protection, but in unmodded BG1EE / SoD I don't think there's anything. I think the last time I checked BG2EE had not yet been updated to remove the critical protection from ioun stones, but I'm not certain about that.

    Cloak of the Gargoyle provides protection against critical hits, but I think it's only in SoD.
