Do Bards need Cha or Int for spellcasting?

Hey guys, in BG before, Bards relied on Intelligence for spellcasting, but they were supposed to rely on Charisma. Is this fixed in BGEE? Which do I need as a Bard?

    BG uses 2ed rules so bards need int for spell. Bards did not start using CHA for spell till 3.0

    However the IE games modified how the stats for mages work. They removed the stat requirements for high levels and for mages I even think most (or all) of the bonus spells so the stat is still pretty useless.
