Full Screen doesn't Full Screen?

The option in Graphics for Full Screen does nothing for me. Anyone else experience this or find a solution? Help greatly appreciated!

Edit: looks like running as admin and compatibility mode did nothing as well. Still searching around online for suggestions.

    Does hitting Alt-Enter do anything for you?

    Found a solution for myself here. I am using three monitors. I guess somehow my main monitor was set to a resolution above what it could handle. I do not recall setting it this way but w/e. adjusting to the (recommended) setting fixed the issue for me. Also Windows 8 here. I will post this in another thread I saw about the same issue.
