    Interesting thread. But I'm still not clear on one thing. Does the non-detection spell block the thief skill detect illusion in any fashion (for one application or continuously)?

    @fortyseven: The detect illusion skill only removes illusionary effects, (using an internally applied Opcode #220). Non-detection, either in spell form or from the cloak, only protects against Opcodes #47 and #116.

    So, illusionary invisibility will always be dispelled by the detect illusion skill, no matter if under non-detection or not. However, non-illusionary invisibility, (the main example of which is Hide in Shadows), will not be dispelled by the detection illusion skill.

    Thanks @Bubb! Interesting how the detect illusion skill works then as it appears to strip a character of all the effects from the illusionist spell school.
