Crashing

So, I load it up. First problem is that I don't get an opening video, just a screen with three rectangles and a small grinding sound. But, I can click through that no problem.
So I create a character. No problem. Introduction to Candlekeep...no problem. But when I press 'Done' a window pops up saying a problem has caused it to stop working, and it closes out of the game entirely. I have tried running from the 0766 Baldur, on all of the packs, as an admin. Everything. I restarted my computer. Nothing is working. Any help?
