Game crashes when I travel West of Nashkel mines

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Everytime I click on this area (AR5300), my game crashes as it tries to load.

Any idea why?

    Some file could be corrupted. Does it still happen when you start a new game? If it's the Area File I suggest reinstalling the game (It should work because you'd be downloading the file straight from the source). If it's caused by a mod you could also check if the area file os in your override folder and delete it (so it resets back to.the original) , but you would still need to restart the game.
