game keeps crashing - uninstall and await fix in coming days, then reinstall?

Well, the game keeps crashing my desktop computer--repeatedly. Tonight I'll download it onto my laptop as well and see if I have any better luck tomorrow morning on that. Although I want to play it on my PC, not laptop.

I tried various proposed fixes in the support forum (Windows PC), but to no avail. I sent an email to support@beamdog.com with as much info as I could think to provide.

I'm wondering if the game just isn't ready, and if I should uninstall it and await for a repaired version to reinstall...

Anyway, it's off to bed for me. Here's hoping that Beamdog gets the kinks worked out so that those of us experiencing problems can start playing the game they've worked so hard to develop for us.

    It doesn't work for me either. It keeps crashing after character creation. How disappointing.

    It's crashed my computer 6 times, I got as far as Montaron one time but I'm pretty sure it's my video card that's the issue

    When you say it "crashes the computer", you mean that the game crashes, right?

    No, I mean I get the blue Windows crash screen stating that Windows is shutting down my computer to protect it.
