Mage Avatar

Is there any combination of Mage>Cleric, Cleric>Mage That has an end result of Mage avatar? I love the different robe looks but every time I do any combination or multi it is always the Cleric avatar. Kinda drives me nuts. Is it like DNA and the Mage is always the weaker gene?

    I think you always get the avatar that has the sprite with most armor types.
    ej: fighter-thief---> fighter
    mage-thief----> thief

    The avatar always prioritizes by highest Hit Die. It kind of makes sense from a clarity perspective even though it sucks aesthetically. You can change it with some console magic though, or EEKeeper.

    C:Eval('Polymorph(MAGE_MALE_HUMAN)') or whatever race/gender have you.

    It edits your save, so if you've got the cloud save feature, you can just use EEkeeper on desktop, then send the new save back to your tablet through the cloud.
