Lost thief skills.

Finally to Throne of Bhaal, and my main has lost his thief skills, such as lock picking and hide in shadows. This is a tad inconvenient, I can't steal from people (as easily) now. Is there a fix? I found another thread with the same issue on the forum via a google search, but the fix there doesn't work. The skill icons are still on my action bar, they're just "grayed out" and not usable.

    Nevermind, fixed the issue. Dumb game telling me a certain piece of armour is an upgrade, so i put it on not realising it's full plate...
