    I have a similar problem. Game opens a window (probably for animation) and then displayes message that it has crashed with following information. I run Win 7 (polish version) on HP NX6310.

    same problem here !

    It is a serious problem as we can't even run the game !!!!!

    My system is Windows XP Pro 32 bit, Greek version,
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8300 3Ghz,
    GPU: ATI 3870HD 512MB

    I installed the latest drivers for my graphic card and it runs!

    People who still crash after latest driver install and latest game patch, please send the crash dmp to beamdmp@gmail.com
    (if the game made one, you will see a window mentioning the place of the dump file)

    That patch fixed it for me! Turned off compatibility mode and bang I can play it like normal!! Now since I jinxed it, i'm gonna try launch the game, annnnnnnnddddd... It works fine! =)
