A noob asks for help

I am sorry but I have to ask this because I just started modding BGEE. I have BGEE and SoD on Steam.
I realize that I have to install DLC Merger since I have SoD installed.

I want to install some mods aswell, like SCS, BG1NPC and portrait mod, etc...

Which option do I have to pick from the DLC Merger?

Or better: What is the correct order of operation in terms of mod installation?

At the moment I have a clean install of the game. Do I install the other mods first and then the DLC Merger on top of it? I really have no idea.

Please help me.

After you install dlc merger from here https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/71305/mod-dlc-merger-merge-steam-gog-sod-dlc-or-custom-dlcs-with-the-main-game. There are instructions on how to install every mod (i think). You can follow this guide https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/60317/bgee-recommended-mod-list-for-new-players/p1 and there is this guide for your reference on what works for SoD https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/50340/bg-ee-2-0-and-siege-of-dragonspear-compatible-mods/p1. I done this myself and added some from the non-compatible ones to my game but didn't really notice any bug/issue. You can also Download Big world setup from here http://www.shsforums.net/topic/56670-big-world-setup-an-attempt-to-update-the-program/ and then after you unpack their zipped file click the program with the .vbs extension.
