Pirates of the Sword Coast and Tyrants of the Moonsea questions

What are the beginning levels of these two - if I remember right PotSC started at 5 but what did you end up as? Too high to start in TotMS (on the vault it suggests level 15 to begin but is that right for the new version?) if you want to take a char from one to the other?

Will Tyrants of the Moonsea be available through the beamdog client soon?

One problem I had waaaaay back in the day with PofSC was that I tried playing a rogue and every time i laid a trap Poly the Parrot would trip it as I couldn't send it away for a long enough time - is that still a problem in the EE version? Despite that it was still my favorite of the premium mods.
Are both mods ok for playing as a mage or too melee oriented?

    Level 15 is the recommended starting level for TotM and you will get the opportunity to level up if you start with lower than that. A mage is certainly viable for TotM.
