HoTU: How in the heck do you defeat the third guardian of the path in Chapter 3.

I can't for the life of me do enough damage. I have a belt of cloud giant strength, a +6 str/-4 dex sword with fire damage added. And even buffed to 32 strength, I can't do crap of damage to it on EASY MODE.

How in the heck do you hit this thing hard enough to get through?

    I don't remember how i beat it last time I played but as a guess - Do you still have a +8 astral blade and have you tried it?

    CRAP. Sold that off to the Djinn. Will buy it back...

    just to let you know, ( if you haven't already ) now that you are in chapter 3, there is a drow merchant at the inn/bar? where the black dragon is a server, that drow can upgrade your weapon to something quite ridiculous, especially if you have lots of money ( usually 1 million gold is enough )

    so make sure to check him out before you finish off chapter 3

    You need a +7 or better weapon.
