Module build resets all character pictures in servervault?

I recently did a build of my pw module with 8186 and all the existing player's pictures in the servervault reset to the default hooded (male or female) picture. I'm wondering what I did to cause this and if there is a way to restore the previous pictures?

There aren't many characters in the vault but I want to, even manually, restore the previous pictures and make sure my future builds don't do this again.

Any thoughts or advice would be helpful.
