Druid weapons against Belhifet

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
My Druid now has the Root of the Problem club...is it considered a +3 weapon in terms of what it can hit (a bit like the way Burning Earth behaves) and are demons and devils considered ‘unnatural’...? I’d like to use it against Belhifet if I can. :)

If not I’ll have to use that scimitar instead :)
