Bounty Hunters "special snare" - bug?

Hi!

I just noticed that the Bounty Hunter class is able to throw their special snares unto an enemy. Surely this must be a bug of some kind? Perhaps it was meant to be this way, but please, if anyone know the real intent do share it with me.

    It's not a listed feature of the special snare, but it's treated as an intended one. The special snares have done that going all the way back to the originals. At one point Beamdog accidentally patched it so you couldn't throw them anymore, and that was treated as the bug, which they fixed later.

    I'm told there are some creative applications for that, though I've never toyed around with it too much myself.

    Another cute trick is that the game registers whether or not your thief can be seen placing a trap based on the thief's line of sight, not the enemies'... so if you cast blindness on your thief, you can very well place traps in the middle of a firefight, snares and special snares alike.
