how to trigger Ferrusk's quest?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I found him in the cave, got an amulet from him, but he doesn't give a quest to kill good druids. Are there any special conditions for this quest?

    Did you tell him about the good druids? I recall there is a dialogue option mentioning them

    I learned that for triggering the quest I needed to save druids from the plants first. After that Ferrusk will have a dialog option about them.

    But it didn't help at the end of a day, because quest appears buggy. I got a request for killing the druids, I killed them and brought their heads to Ferrusk, he took them, gave me two potions, but in my journal quest stuck at "go and give heads to Ferrusk" option, so no ending and no achievement :(

    I will try to report it in readmine, not sure if it still alive tho, my last couple reports received no reaction

    Hmm annoying, though I think all you get are the potions
