Strength Modifier to Thrown Weapon Damage

Apologies if this has been answered before.

Which thrown weapons (daggers, darts, axes, etc) have their damage modified by strength bonuses in EE? I've read a bunch of conflicting information which seems to be due to this working differently in different editions of the game.

    Thrown weapons such as daggers and axes gain THAC0 from Dexterity (like other ranged weapons) and damage from strength (like melee weapons).
    Darts gain THAC0 from Dexterity, but do not gain damage from any stat; they're treated like bows and arrows.

    This is true for the latest versions of the EE, but I'm pretty sure it's been that way all along.
