BGEE patch is finishing up downloading about an hour ago. I'm chilling playing some Dark Souls while I wait. It's like 90% done and I'm getting ready to play. Then boom, BAM WIGGITY WHAM. Irenicus shifts through multiple planar realities and dimensions and casts Power Word: Kill on my SSD, as I experience a Blue Screen of death and discover it's bricked when I boot up.

:-(

So now I'm running my Ubuntu CD transferring my data files onto a backup hard-drive so I can install Windows on it.

What a crock of shit time for my SSD to take a dump. I can hardly believe it, it's like the fates have aligned to keep me from playing BGEE for as long as possible. I await my chance to play with bated breath...
