Accessing NWMaster Server List API

Trying to get API access to the JSON data from the server list at NWMaster site (https://api.nwn.beamdog.net/v1/servers) but i'm having trouble getting it working. I'm not too familiar with CORS and everything i looked up hasn't been helpful/over my head. So anyone with more knowledge, is there something specific i have to do with the AJAX request? Anything with headers???

I tested it and got it working with a proxy for testing purposes, but would naturally prefer to avoid a proxy if possible...
