Import savegames - not working

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi,
I can export savegames for BG:EE on both iphone and ipad, but I cannot import them. If I export the file via dropbox or email and open it on the other device, I do not get BG:EE as possible app to open it.
Can somebody help with this problem or is it due to ios 13?
