character unable to initiate doors and items

PC version - multiple issues entering and leaving buildings, where the toon simply stands in the door...in addition, multiple items do not register when clicked, such as chests. After a considerable amount of time (five minutes or more) they suddenly work. Wondering if this is an engine bug or something else. My system is not slow - rigged for playing WoW on ultimate settings. Played original BGTOTSC back in the day and recall similar issues...

    I have a similar issue. My avatar is unable to open doors and boxes (He gets near the door but nothing happens). He also can't speech with NPCs. I got just the welcome phrase and anything else...

    My PC:
    intel quad core
    nvidia GTX 460
    SSD intel 128GB
    2GB ddr3 ram

    can somebody help me please?

    the bug was in my brian, I was using the right click instead of the left one :D
