Toolset CTD/Not responding

When I run the nwtoolset.exe and either create a new module or load an existing one, it either crashes and closes without warning, or freezes and becomes not responsive.

I have deleted my entire installation folder and then verified the installation via steam, the results are the same.

Edit: I've also run it as an administrator and run it in compatibility mode for XP service pack 2 for the hell of it.

    Have you disabled Threaded Optimization if you own an NVidia card? Every time you update your driver, Threaded Optimization gets turned back on by NVidia.
