Arrow selection

I keep trying to search the forum, but I get a something has gone wrong error. In any case, does anyone know if you can disable the auto selection feature for arrows? My PW uses very powerful arrows that I hate wasting on scrub mobs because the decision was made for me.

    Using NWNX, the ammo-replacement event can be manipulated including what ammo it finds/returns and I assume being able to return nothing.

    In the base game, I don't believe there's any control.

    My bodge for this is to always have plenty of normal arrows equipped and in inventory, replenishing well before they run out, to avoid the replacement event. Kinda obvious, but no other way that I know.
