Non combat entry into Bandit Camp

Has the entry into the bandit camp been updated. I usually go via Teven in Larswood and have always had Kivan in the party. There used to be a dialogue option with Tazok, that would allow no combat, however this time there is no dialogue options, it just starts a fight

i think in the latest patch, kivan now has a dialogue with tazok ( since tazok killed kivan's lover ) so you will always have to have a fight i believe

and on top of that, the "kivan timer" will not stop until you start chapter 4 by obtaining the letters inside the trapped chest in tazok's tent
