Default ID name? How to get it back so I can type it in?

When I first got this game I was just messing around and I set my username to default. How do I get it back so I can type it in? Documents/NWN/settings? How do I open this settings file so I can get in it to access settings. It's a tml file (???) and I need a program to open it. I don't want to give my email address and get all kinds of junk mail....

    .tml is just a type of text file. Open it in any basic text editor (notepad will do).

    If you mean your multiplayer username, I think it's actually in the nwnplayer.ini file under:
    [Profile]
Player Name=XXXXX
