Beamdog's newest dev build 8193.6 allows custom spellcasting classes! I went ahead and updated my Prestige Spellbook Pack (which was originally made for the Community Patch Project + NWNCX) to use the EE engine. You'll have to opt in to test 8193.6 to try it.

It's available at the Vault or via Steam Workshop.
