On Switch, the game's font scales rather poorly and is difficult to read, especially in handheld mode. You can use a mod meant for the PC version to fix this, but your Switch must be hacked.

Here is an album with screenshot comparisons of how the font looks before and after: https://imgur.com/a/CXASDB7

We'll be using a UI mod made by yeneko, found here: https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/gui/larger-and-more-readable-fonts-ui-adjustments

They deserve all the credit; this mod works on Switch without any changes being necessary.

0. Download the mod, if you haven't already.

1. Open your Switch's SD card on your computer. Enter the folder of the CFW you're using; for this tutorial; I'll be using Atmosphere.

2. Enable LayeredFS on your CFW if it isn't already (Atmosphere has this enabled by default).

3. In your atmosphere folder (or whatever your CFW is), find the "titles" folder. Inside "titles", make a new folder and name it "010013700DA4A000" (the game ID of NWN on Switch).

4. Inside the new "010013700DA4A000" folder, make another folder called "romfs". Inside "romfs", make another folder called "ovr".

5. Open the .zip you downloaded and go into the "override" folder. Copy all the files from "override" into "ovr" on your Switch's SD card.

That's it! You're done!
