Installing the game directory

in Beamdog Client
Hello,
My only way to install the Baldur's gate series is via the client and placing the games @ user/acer/beamdog library or something like this.

Have anyone of you experienced this aswell?

When I try to choose a different location the game fails and don't let me download it.
