No XP for solving the dwarven puzzle room

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Hi

I've just solved the dwarven puzzle room in chapter 4, pulled the lever in the room with the table, but did not receive any XP. Supposedly, I should be getting 56,000 experience points for this. I this normal?

    make sure to be in the area where the lever is;

    if you can enable the cheat console you can use some cheats to see if we can get it to trigger;

    try using these 2 commands;

    SetGlobal("PUZZLE_REWARD","MYAREA",0)
    SetGlobal("PUZZLE_STAIRS_OPEN","GLOBAL",1)

    hopefully those 2 commands will get it to trigger

    I've copied and pasted both commands into the cheat console. Nothing happens. It says in the window: string SetGlobal("PUZZLE_REWARD" ... ')' expected near 'PUZZLE_STAIRS_OPEN'

    can you upload a copy of your save file? then perhaps i can tinker around and see what is happening
