Permadeath is not a PW, but an audio story inspired by NWN and the hardcore RP role-playing persistent gameworlds that people create here. A lot of things are referenced in the audiobook including the toolset, dungeon masters, hardcore role-playing, permadeath, leveling, etc. It's all integrated into the story, which in itself in is based on the power role-playing has to affect change in people. I attribute NWN and the specific PW it's based on (HAZE [2003-2005]) in the credits list.

I believe anyone who ever role-played in NWN could relate to it and I would love for you to listen to it. All 5 episodes freely available on youtube for your consumption:

    Almost all of my best memories were made on permadeath PWs, yet they're so incredibly rare these days. I'll throw your audio book in the queue and try to give feedback at a later date - thanks for sharing.
