New soundset guidelines?

I want to try making some custom soundsets for BG/BG2.

I'm using these guidelines: http://www.baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?topic=745.0 and this shell http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/1104-awesome-soundsets-vol-0-soundset-mod-shell/

I was wondering if there are newer tools and/or updated format guidelines for the EE.
