Acid (green) visual weapon effect

Why is it that in NWN v1.69 a weapon with acid damage on a creature shows a green visual effect but when I put the same weapon with acid damage and then also an acid visual effect on a creature in NWN EE it shows white?

That is a bug. Should be fixed in Development build .8.

The server is Build 8193 (6cb97310) and my game is v79.8193.6 (150849c7).
