BG1EE Black pits - missing merchants

Hello,

I just won the fire giant with his elementals and it seems the interim room is missing both potions and spells merchants. I need to buy potions before the final fight. I could't find previous mentions or if this is a feature and not a bug. Can anything be done? No mods in use.
