My game looks terrible

So I just bought the game after looking at Let's Plays on youtube and I have an issue with how the game looks. It looks nothing like the clips on youtube where the text is crisp, the portraits are clear and focused, and over all it just doesnt look right.

What can I do to fix this? Nothing changes when I select "Scale User Interface" and the game looks alittle better if I play windowed (but thats not a solution).

    So I solved this myself but I'll let the thread be up incase anyone else have the same issue.

    Whenever I start the game the scaling goes from 100% to 150%, no idea why but if you tab out and go to your screen options (where you can change resolution) there is a scaling option with recommended. Its 100% for me usually, but when in BG1EE its "recommended" that I run 150%.
