Toolset crashes

in Builders - Toolset
Toolset loads fine but when I try to open an area it crashes.
I have tried different mods. crash everytime.

    If you have a nvidia card turn off Threaded Optimization for the toolset in the NVIDIA Control Panel app.

    Hello,

    sorry for the necro, but as Im having the exact same issue (if "crash" means the toolset just hangs and never actually loads the area into the viewscreen) i did not want to open a new thread.

    I have disabled Threaded Optimization for the toolset and even tried with it disabled globally, but no change. The area never completes loading and i have to kill the toolset.

    System Info:
    Win 10
    32Gb RAM
    Graka: Geforce RTX 2080 Ti
    Driver version 461.40

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Which version - Beamdog, Steam or GOG? Advice can differ depending on the version.

    I have a very similar setup. The only option I have changed is Run as Administrator. I have Threaded Optimization set to auto in the Nvidia control panel.
