solo monk . possible?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Is it ever possible to solo monk? Dark Moon in my case. I heard end boss is immune to fists so he cannot be beaten. is it true?

    Monks can use weapons ;). It takes a +3 weapon to damage him and there are a fair number of those in BGEE and SoD that monks can use.

    Here's some quick ideas if you want to make the final battle easy.
    - monks can use divine scrolls. Those include Champion's Strength - using those can boost THAC0 sufficiently to hit Belhifet with a 2, even when dual-wielding.
    - monks can use potions of power. The HP addition from those is cumulative, so taking a number of them will greatly boost HPs. Those can be fully refreshed using Durlag's Goblet or Scrolls of Greater Restoration.
    - you can recruit Caelar in the final battle. Using restoration scrolls on her, it's easy enough to keep her alive long enough to kill Belhifet even if you do no damage to him yourself.

    You can get a weapon that you can use and will hit him minutes before the fight
