Game crashes after I quit

Hi, 1st of all let me say its not the worst of bugs because I can actually play the game. Whenever I quit the game it stays on the main screen a lot of time with the cursor displaying the waiting icon (windows says program not responding) then it crashes and windows reports an error but no error message. I'm running the beamdog client on windows 7 ultimate sp1 64bit and a gtx 670 all stuff with latest drivers.
