Baldur's Gate II:EE connection problems

Hi!
My friends and I play for some time and another friend tried to join us. Sadly, despite the fact, he has an original game version (GoG), he has serious problems with connection. We play through hamachi- mainly because some of my friends have the game from different sources (steam, cd version). I also have a game from the GoG, as a host.
- While he is joining the game room, everything is fine until he wants to accept new created/imported character- then he is getting kicked.
- Even when I try to start/load the game with him as a spectator, and just share him a new created character while we are in the game, his game crashes or kicks him
- We already tried unlocking ports, switching off the whole variety of firewalls/antiviruses. Still doesn't work.
I'm running out of ideas what can be wrong. Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?
